Path2Linkage
HEM-first identity resolution, built on real transactions.
Part of the Path2Real product family, alongside Path2RealBuyers and Path2RealDonors.
Most identity graphs are stitched together from whatever signal is available — cookies, device IDs,
modeled matches. Path2Linkage starts somewhere more solid: hashed emails (HEMs) tied directly
to real, verified transactions and CASS-certified postal addresses. As we put it internally:
“Path2Linkage doesn’t replace your ID graph — we add resolution to make it more powerful.”
Why it matters: a HEM sitting in your identity graph today may have gone stale years ago. Path2Linkage adds a recency signal that shows which HEMs are still actively in use — not just which ones exist.
WITH PATH2LINKAGE
- Resolve more of your identity graph: incremental HEMs your graph doesn’t have yet, verified against real transactions.
- Round out digital-only data: match a HEM back to a verified household postal address — email-to-postal reverse append.
- See which identities are still alive: a recency signal that separates active HEMs from stale ones.
- Raise match rates on every file you process: cleaner data, more accurate matching, more reliable workflows.
Delivered monthly via SFTP on a rolling 24-month window. One row per hashed email (MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2), tied to
an individual’s name and postal address.
EXAMPLE USE CASES
Identity graph resolution. Append incremental HEMs
your graph is missing, plus a recency signal for which
identities are still active.
Match rate improvement. Data service providers use
the file to raise match rates on the lists and campaign
files they process.
Advertising. Target advertising on display and social
media networks, plus search, mobile, CTV, OTT, and
email.
Email-to-postal reverse append. Match a HEM back
to a verified household postal address to round out
digital-only data.
Suppression & verification. Confirm the validity of
email or postal addresses, plus identifiers like device
ID, cookies, and MAIDs.
Sub-licensing. Sublicense or distribute the data as a
core component of an integrated identity solution, under equivalent terms.

Who is Path2Response?
Your modern performance data partner, grounded in truth, determinism, and actual buying behavior.
- Privacy first: CCPA-compliant and SOC 2 certified.
- Reliable identity: deterministic matching with 575M+ HEMs for a unified view.
- Advanced tech: machine learning and modeling built for speed, not just scale.
- Ground truth data: first-party transactions across ~273M U.S. individuals.
- Modeling speed: same-day and next-day turnaround, back-tested before it ships.
- Behavior signals: rich, multi-channel signals modeled daily for maximum recency.
Every HEM traces back to a real transaction.
Not a cookie, not a device graph guess, not an inference. That
is the difference between ground truth and hearsay — and it is
the whole reason Path2Linkage resolves what other identity
data can’t.
Let’s get started.
